The New Balance Summit Unknown is built on the platform of the popular 1400 racing flat but adds an aggressive lug pattern and a slightly more supportive upper for next level performance on varying terrain. With underfoot protection provided by the tried and true Revlite midsole material and a forefoot rock plate, this shoe offers lightweight and responsive cushioning that will shield you from a variety of sharp trail surfaces. To enhance confidence on swift ascents and descents, New Balance chose to outfit this model with a semi-aggressive rubber outsole and multidirectional lugs. Finished off with a snazzy synthetic mesh upper and their famous Fantom Fit midfoot cage, the sky is the limit with the New Balance Summit Unknown.
